Painting Pumpkins

We love to decorate pumpkins this time of year like everyone else.  I don’t like the oo-ey goo-ey mess of carving them though!  I think mostly I just don’t like the idea of the kids using sharp knives to carve pumpkins.  Anyway, that’s why we paint pumpkins.

I created these little printables to decorate the pumpkins after we painted them….crazy eyes, mouths, and creatures.

Here’s the creative minds at work!

In hindsight, I’m not sure if this is actually any less messy than carving pumpkins, but at least its safer!

More Halloween Printables…

More Halloween printables as promised!  Here is a Halloween Neighborhood Treat chain letter.  I’m going to start this in my neighborhood tonight! (To my neighbors:  Okay, so I gave it away…but just keep it going!  It’s so fun when everyone gets a treat!)

Also below, a Halloween gift tag–perfect for decorating a plate of spooky treats–and a Halloween party invitation.  Print and Enjoy!

Halloween Printables!

I love fun holiday activities.  I created these printables last year and Anne was excited to have her teacher use them in class.  They are great for classrooms or to use for a fun Halloween party activity at home!  Print and enjoy!
